the residential compound of villa Bellini is located in a peripheral area of the municipality of Moltrasio, while at the same time enjoying a privileged view over its shoreline.
the property borders directly on the waters of Lake Como and is distinguished by distinctive decorative elements that set it apart both from the landward access and from the lake perspective: a composite volume defined by two frontal lateral towers with an unusual hexagonal plan; openings and corresponding shutters on all inhabited levels with ogival shapes; custom painted or mosaic decorations; a triumphant entrance to the plot and equally monumental external spaces.
in its existing condition, the property was in a state of abandonment and decay; thanks to the renovation commissioned by the new ownership, it regains its former splendor.
the intervention of the architectural studio unfolds across multiple themes, ranging from the functional distribution of living spaces to interior design and decorative choices, the renewal of façades and external ornamentation, landscape design and the refurbishment of the private dock, as well as the construction of a new private swimming pool and indoor spaces dedicated to the wellness area. the harmonious and carefully balanced combination of all these elements and their respective requirements contributes to the creation of a unique, balanced, melodic, opulent, stimulating and elegant environment.
the collective objective of carcanoStucchi’s design and construction supervision significantly reinterprets its own execution approach within this project; where the client’s vision becomes fully aligned with the built form. the relationship between space and individual generates the possibility of inhabiting a private and welcoming world that continues to reveal itself as creative and surprising, even to those who grow accustomed to it.
the decoration of the interior spaces involves multiple collaborations with local craftsmen and carefully selected elements sourced from external producers.
the swimming pool, meticulously clad in tiny mosaic tiles in bluish tones, reflects the outstanding craftsmanship of local artisans and offers the villa a unique feature, difficult to replicate.
the entirety of the planned works was agreed upon and subsequently carried out in order to achieve precisely the objectives outlined above, ultimately offering a fairy-tale jewel to be experienced by both owners and visitors.
