DIMORA TRIESTE 13

Eleven residential units based on Knauf technology

cernobbio (co) _ CER
2024 - In progress
multi-family residential complex _ no. 11 apartments
1,570 sqm plot - 1,190 sqm living space

The collaborative synergy between Castiglioni ing. Attilio - costruzioni edili and Brenna Immobiliare Cernobbio gives rise to a pilot project aligned with the principles of the investing group. The latter primarily aims to redevelop a portion of territory which, in its current state, has already been built upon but has long been abandoned and effectively left unused; thus contributing to a virtuous process of urban regeneration.

The plot at the center of the intervention has a شبه-mountainous nature with significant slope conditions, being located on the foothills overlooking the town center of Cernobbio. The site currently hosts a simple structure with a limited volume, smaller than what is permitted within the designated zoning area. This marks the starting point for a new construction and urban regeneration project.

It was decided, together with the team of collaborators, to proceed with a dry construction technology, opting for the solution offered by Knauf - a global leader in the field of construction and innovative, sustainable building materials.

The construction system is therefore characterized by a reinforced concrete structural frame, combined with dry systems based on the Knauf model for external walls, façades, balconies, roofing and internal partitions.

Overall, from both an aesthetic and functional perspective, the building aims first and foremost to provide private and shared spaces that can be experienced both indoors and outdoors; to establish a strong relationship between interior and exterior for all residential units, regardless of size or orientation; to ensure a high level of accessibility across all levels and environments of the building; and to deliver an efficient, sustainable structure with a high standard of living quality. Six variations of the most common housing types - one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments - are therefore proposed, offering a broader range of spatial configurations to better meet the needs of future residents.

The components and details that define the intervention of Dimora Trieste 13 have been carefully designed down to the smallest detail, in order to reflect — also in formal and aesthetic terms — the strong intentions that underpin this confident, innovative and professional collaboration.
